Become a Licensed Home Inspector in Arkansas

Planning to be a licensed home inspector?  Arkansas Home Inspector Institute can help you reach your goal. We offer an 80-hour home inspector training course that covers all aspects of inspections from foundations to roofing. All our instructors are working, licensed home inspectors or licensed in the field they are teaching.  Correspondence courses or on-line courses are not acceptable for licensure in Arkansas. 

AHII is Approved by the Arkansas Board of Appraisers, Abstractors, and Home Inspectors for the 80 hours of Pre-Registration Education in the Classroom.

You will be taught at AHII, the knowledge needed to successfully complete the National Home Inspector Examination, conduct a comprehensive Home Inspection and write a readily understandable report of your findings.

Once you complete the course, you'll get a certificate from the school, and you'll be prepared to take the National Home Inspector Examination.

Upon completion of the Pre-Registration class and passing the above 2 tests, you'll need to create an account on the Arkansas Licensing page (here) to submit documents and apply for your Arkansas license.

Arkansas Standards of Practice 

AHII teaches the Arkansas and the ASHI Standards Of Practice and Code Of Ethics. The Registration Board has designated these as the standards and code of ethics to be followed by Arkansas home inspectors.
